USoft positive exception in weaker Dutch ICT-sector

Baarn, 14 April 2011 - The Netherlands has lost its position as one of the top-ten countries in the ICT field. This has been made apparent following research by the World Economic Forum. The main reason for this loss was considered to be the fact that the Netherlands no longer develops as much innovative technology and when it does, not enough use is made of it. The Dutch USoft organization has risen above this technological stagnancy: today, USoft's Rule Based Business Process Management platform was acclaimed as international leading technology by Gartner.

The platform, leveraging the power of natural language, is perfectly suited to converting unstructured processes and knowledge into applications that deliver added value for businesses.

It is just this sort of product, according to Roel Spans, managing director of USoft, that will ensure that the Netherlands will return to the top-ten next year: "While the Netherlands is apparently losing ground in the ICT field, our country has always belonged to the best in the world in the services and process management sectors.
