Vince Treur new Product Manager at USoft
Category: General
Vince M. Treur has worked for the last ten years as a self-employed software architect, focusing on product development and service development. One of the commissioning parties that he worked for in this period is the Dutch Taxation authority (Belastingdienst). In this role, his tasks included the development of web applications in general, and the pre-completed tax return in particular.
Treur has made a conscious decision to give up his self-employed status. 'The employees at USoft share an enormous passion and enthusiasm for the development of products that clients actually want and need, and the diversity of the people concerned adds real value to this. It appeals to me that I will be in contact with a variety of disciplines, and that we will work together as a real team. This will help to focus my work more accurately and effectively.'
Treur is enthusiastic about the potential of USoft's products. 'As far as I'm concerned, IT itself has no value for users or an organization if it doesn't result in obvious added value. I really believe in BPM (Business Process Management) and the opportunities that the USoft products offer in combination with this. I intend to concentrate on ensuring that the added value of USoft's products is increasingly brought to centre stage. Over the next few years, I want to focus on bringing the product development and product marketing at USoft to a higher level, by matching them to the requirements and developments in the market place.'
