Naarden, July 12, 2023 – VanDrie Group, active in the field of veal, calf feeds, and calf skins, is starting a strategic partnership with USoft. Together they will work on the development of a customized ERP solution for several operating companies within VanDrie Feed, the group’s animal feed division. This ERP solution will have specific functionality for VanDrie’s niche field and will move with the developments within the organization. This allows VanDrie to continue to focus on the innovation of its products and processes.
From standard to customization
The decision to move away from standard software for the business-critical ERP system was not an easy one, but it was a very conscious one. VanDrie deliberately chose the flexibility to make adjustments to the software at its own discretion. Now, but especially also in the future and fully in line with its own business operations.
Specific functionalities
The development of the new ERP system started from an intensive collaboration between the employees of VanDrie’s various production locations and the specialists at USoft. The emphasis here is on making specific functionalities available for, among other things, complying with rapidly changing Dutch and European laws and regulations. The USoft low-code platform allows unique business processes to be supported at the company’s own discretion.
Extra agility
The new ERP solution will offer extra agility to the organization. Because the ERP environment can easily move with the developments within the organization, this step ensures that VanDrie can continue to focus on the innovation of its products and processes.
